The expenses that can be deducted for the use of a business aircraft are wide ranging and as an aircraft owner or operator you’re probably well aware of the many, many expenses that you incur as a business aircraft owner. These can include fuel. They can include aircraft storage, landing fees, catering fees, any of those commonly associated expenses as well as tax depreciation or makers’ depreciation if applicable. There may be expensing elections that allow you to take a large part of the aircraft value or purchased price up front and office expenses or accounting or legal expenses that are associated with properly and legally operating that aircraft are all expenses that should be deductible for your business aircraft.
