Should I do a CA voluntary determination?

Transcript:

Although it isn’t required, a good practice for aircraft making use of the California Interstate Commerce Use Tax Exemption is to proactivity submit for a voluntary determination. Technically you could wait for the state to issue a notice, but because California applies a penalty if you don’t register your aircraft in the state, receiving the notice is basically inevitable, and being proactive can help the process get off on the right foot.
